Medical Services: New Day Treatment Center is a CARF accredited treatment program.  All services are provided without an appointment.  All patients are seen prior to the start of treatment by physicians who are trained in addictionology. Each patient’s medical needs will be assessed through a thorough history and physical exam. The physician will remain involved during the induction phase until the patient has been stabilized on his or her optimum dose of methadone in order to eliminate any and all symptoms of withdrawal or drug cravings. The physicians will then be available whenever a medical problem arises or a dosage change up or down is required.
On admission blood work is also performed along with a TB test. Screening for Hepatitis B and C as well as HIV can also be arranged for patients at risk. Random urine drug screens are also performed on a regular basis.Clinical Services: New Day Treatment Center “Clinical Services” are provided by trained credentialed counselors.  Patients will be assigned to their own counselor who will develop an individualized treatment plan based on each patient’s needs. This might also include referral for services outside of the clinic if indicated. Patients will be seen frequently in the early weeks of recovery and then less often as the recovery process advances. Group counseling sessions are conducted on a regular basis. Attendance is encouraged but not mandatory. New Day fervently believes that counseling is critical to the recovery from addiction and we urge patients to take full advantage of their services.Group Counseling Sessions Include:
